REQUIREMENTS
Marketing Requirements

The device shall accurately measure depth of the Russian River.

The device shall measure Salinity in the Russian River.

The device shall autonomously follow the user's programmed path plan.

The device shall simultaneously collect sensor data with location coordinates.

The device shall measure temperature in the Russian River.

The device shall be weather resistant.

The device shall be able to run for a full programmed path plan.
Engineering Requirements

The device must record depth with no more than 5% error. (MR1)

The device must measure +/- 5 ppt of the salinity reading. (MR2)
-
GPS must have a minimum accuracy of 20 meters. (MR3)

The path deviation from any programmed waypoint must be less than 20 meters. (MR3)

The device must log salinity and temperature data and GPS coordinates at least every 30 seconds. (MR4)

The device should measure within +/- 3 Degrees (Celsius) of the temperature reading. (MR5)

The device shall meet IPX5 standard. (MR6)

The device must operate at a minimum of 30 minutes. (MR7)
